The Film Premiere of ‘Midnight Radio’

‘In a desolate, dreamscape town over the course of a night out of time, the fraught circumstances and loosening minds of two women begin to spiral together as their respective pasts close in on them, under the influence of a strange and unreal narcotic…’

Sebastian Boudin, Director, writes …. ‘Midnight Radio is a true-blue indie filmmaking endeavour, shot locally (including, in substantial part, at the Swan Theatre), and made by resident filmmakers intent on showcasing the depth of talent that exists outside the conventional avenues of the filmmaking world. It is an atmospheric chiller that takes inspiration from black-and-white classics such as Carnival of Souls and Eraserhead, as well as the enduring brilliance of Rod Sterling’s The Twilight Zone. The film takes the viewer on a journey to discover the dark and uncanny depths residing just beneath the surface of normality, as the minds of two lost women spiral together over the course of the strangest night of their lives’.

Midnight Radio running time is 1 hour 10 minutes. Seb is going to give a short introduction beforehand and will be around to discuss afterwards. The end time of the film is 9.pm, but if you choose to stay for a short discussion, we estimate that it will wrap up at 9.20pm.
